Historic Fort Conde sits in the footprint of the original fort that guarded Mobile for decades when the city was relocated from its upriver location at 27-Mile Bluff. It's built at 4/5 scale and represents a third of the original fort. It opened on July 4, 1976 as part of Mobile’s United States bicentennial celebration. Tour the fort and learn about the colonization of Mobile and those who influenced and shaped the early city.
